Agenda/Blog
Dear Parents,
Thank you so much for following along with the blog this year. I hope that it provided a bit of insight into the amazing learning occurring in Room 8. I cannot believe that this school year is already coming to an end. It has been such an absolute pleasure working with your children every day. Their curiosity and eagerness to learn has made this school year full of exploration and excitement. I truly love coming to school each day to facilitate your children in their learning! Moving forward, I hope that your family has a wonderful summer. I encourage all children to READ, READ, READ! Every child made amazing progress this year, and I encourage them to keep learning over the summer months. I will leave RazKids and Mathletics open this summer for continual practice. Please note that for RazKids, children can level themselves up by the "level up" option on the home page. Additionally, I will be sending home a Summer Learning Package/Gift on the last day of school! In this package, one portion is an addressed and stamped envelope. Please have your child write me a letter over the summer. I will not be able to receive the letters until September, but I will be sure to write back to them then! Additionally, I will be leaving prizes with Mrs. Fell for the students who return their completed summer package in the fall. As many of you know, I will unfortunately not be at Woodlands School next year. It is certainly with mixed emotions that I move on to a new school to teach Grade 5. I will certainly miss Woodlands dearly, it is such a wonderful school and community. I hope that your child has many successes in the following school years, and I look forward to hearing from them in many years to come! "You're off to great places! Today is your day! We had such a wonderful assembly today! I do have full video of the assembly. However, I am unfortunately not able to upload it to this website as the file is way too big. Therefore, if you would like a copy of the video please send me an email ([email protected]) and I can share the file with you on OneDrive, Google Drive, or Drop Box. Thanks! Miss Murphy Please check out the article in the Woodlands School News regarding our learning HERE ! =D Has your child been talking about the duck and caterpillars at home? The students are certainly excited at school!
