Agenda/Blog
Hi Everyone!
We had such a wonderful assembly today! I do have full video of the assembly. However, I am unfortunately not able to upload it to this website as the file is way too big. Therefore, if you would like a copy of the video please send me an email ([email protected]) and I can share the file with you on OneDrive, Google Drive, or Drop Box. Thanks! Miss Murphy

We will be doing some writing for our assembly this week, finishing up our poetry unit, and engaging in EXTREME WRITING! Extreme writing targets increasing writing output. Students have 5 minutes to write as much as they can as fast as they can. They count and graph the number of words they write. We will review conventions after our extreme writing unit. In math, we are learning how to sort 2D shapes and 3D objects using characteristics this week. In science, we will be learning about animals and insects in a food chain. Grade 2s continue to learn about Iqaluit. Grade 1s are demonstrating their knowledge of places and people in the community through using a coding language called Scratch. In the comments below, name a 2D shape or 3D object! Reminders:
