Agenda/Blog
When the weather is nice, we take our classroom outside!Ask your child about our outdoor classroom activities today! Dear Parents/Guardians,
Thank you so much for continuing to check the blog throughout the year! It helps as a means of communication between home and school. The Grade 2s are off to the Calgary Tower tomorrow! Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather and pack a lunch, snack, and water bottle. The Grade 1s will stay back with me to continue on with our regular classroom learning. The last day of skipping club is this Wednesday at 8:00am. Our assembly is this Thursday at 9:30am. Please join if you are able to do so! We have been working hard to showcase our math learning this year, and we are looking forward to showing everyone on Thursday! Our spelling test is also this Thursday as Activity Day is Friday!! If you would like to consent for your child to use the bouncer, please return the bright orange form in the agenda by Thursday! Teacher's Pet Program is on Monday. Please note that the Grade 2s have already paid for this program as the price was combined with the Calgary Tower payment. The form for this program will be going home on Wednesday. Grade 1s must pay $1 and return the form by this Wednesday. The Grade 1s will be participating in a program about the senses, and the Grade 2s will be joining Mrs. Price's classroom in the morning to participate in a program about Inukshuks. Please refer to the parent letter sent home for more information. Question of the Week: Name a living and nonliving thing that you found on our nature investigation today! Bonus: Can you describe how they were interacting? P.S. I realize that my comments regarding the Mystery Rules did not show up last week! I apologize for this. Here are the answers: Mystery #1: 1. Objects with a square face. 2. Objects with a circle face. 3. Objects with no faces. Mystery #2: 1. Objects that roll. 2. Objects that do not roll. Mystery #3: 1. Objects that have 0 corners. 2. Objects that have 8 corners. 3. Objects that do not have 0 or 8 corners. (That was a tough one! :D ) Thanks, Miss Murphy

Living thing was an ant and the non-living thing was the dirt. They interacted together because the ant would go into the ant home in the dirt.
